OpenAI 于 5 月 5 日发布公告，将 ChatGPT 所有用户的默认模型从 GPT-5.3 Instant 升级至 GPT-5.5 Instant。官方称，内部评估显示新模型在医疗、法律、金融等高风险提示场景中的幻觉率较前代下降 52.5%，在用户标记的高难度对话中错误陈述减少 37.3%。基准测试方面，GPT-5.5 Instant 在 AIME 2025 数学测试中得分 81.2（前代为 65.4），在 MMMU-Pro 多模态推理榜单上得分 76（前代为 69.2）。此外，新模型刻意压缩了响应篇幅，并减少了被 OpenAI 称为"无谓 emoji"的过度格式化输出。
