据彭博社记者 Mark Gurman 援引知情人士报道，苹果计划在今年秋季发布的 iOS 27、iPadOS 27 及 macOS 27 中推出名为"Extensions"的新机制，允许用户在设置中自行选择由哪家第三方 AI 模型来驱动 Apple Intelligence 的各项功能，涵盖 Siri、写作工具（Writing Tools）、图像生成（Image Playground）等。测试版软件中显示的说明文字称，Extensions 可让用户"按需通过已安装的 App 调用生成式 AI 能力"。参与内测的模型目前至少包括 Google 的 Gemini 和 Anthropic 的 Claude；AI 厂商需通过 App Store 应用完成适配后，方可出现在用户的选项列表中。苹果未就报道置评。
此前，Apple Intelligence 主要依赖苹果自研的端侧模型，并在较复杂的请求上选择性调用 OpenAI 的 ChatGPT。此次转向多模型开放平台，标志着苹果 AI 战略的明显调整——从单一合作方转向平台化、模块化路线，将设备定位为可承载多家 AI 服务的"枢纽"。TechCrunch 指出，该功能的具体呈现方式及上线后的用户体验细节预计将于 6 月 WWDC 2026 发布会上正式公布。消息公布后，苹果股价盘后涨逾 2%，Alphabet 亦随之小幅上涨。
